🔳 About the Japanese Society of Applied Glycoscience (JSAG)
The Japanese Society of Applied Glycoscience (JSAG) was originally established in 1952 as the Starch Industry Society, with the aim of advancing starch and carbohydrate sciences as well as related enzyme sciences, and contributing to the development of science, technology, and associated industries. It was renamed the Japanese Society of Starch Science in 1972, and later, in 1993, became the Japanese Society of Applied Glycoscience. In July 2015, it was reorganized as a general incorporated association under its current name.
Since its founding, the society has promoted not only basic but also practical academic research, in close collaboration with a wide range of researchers and engineers from industry, academia, and public research institutions. Continuing from our participation in 2024, Digzyme is proud to contribute to the advancement of carbohydrate research through this exhibition. We warmly invite you to visit our booth during the meeting.
